Every March, Deutsche Schule Durban bursts into colour and joy as we celebrate Fasching—our lively carnival day!
Learners and some brave adults dress up in creative costumes and fill the school with festive cheer. The day kicks off with a fun parade in the school hall, where each child proudly introduces their costume to everyone.
After parents enjoy the parade and say their goodbyes, the celebration continues with dancing, games, and the delicious treat of pancakes. It’s a day full of laughter, community spirit, and unforgettable memories.
Fasching is truly the most colourful, joyful day of the year at DSD!
