Every August, Deutsche Schule Durban hosts its exciting Sportfest, an Interhouse Athletics meeting that brings the whole school together in friendly competition.
All learners compete proudly for their teams—Max or Moritz—in a variety of track and field events. Held on a Friday evening to encourage strong parent support, the event is filled with energy, school spirit, and impressive performances.
Awards are presented for Junior and Senior Victor and Victrix Ludorum, most improved athletes, record breakers, and, of course, the overall winning team.
Sportfest is a highlight of the sporting calendar and a celebration of talent, teamwork, and community.
